We will guide you through the whole way and this is where it all starts..... Our "Blueprint" workshop is a hands-on workshop, designed to inspire, fill you with ideas, confidence, excitement, technical knowledge, the know-how and tips on how to transform your furniture and projects.
This amazing paint system requires no sanding or priming and provides a wide creative scope for you and your home. It's a hands on introductory workshop where you'll be painting and creating decorative finishes all the way through... great for those who have just started painting and perfect for those who have never painted before or those who want to know all about the versatility of The Artisan Company chalk paint and all the amazing things it can do.
The Blueprint workshop is excellent for painting beginners and seasoned furniture painters alike. It covers all the fundamentals of decorative painting:
- How to complete a modern finish
- How to layer colours
- How to create soft restful finishes
- Creating an aged and rustic finish
- Coloured waxes
- How to create age & patina
- Accentuate and bring out detailing out of a piece of furniture
- Creating a robust surface for pieces like the dining or coffee table
- Understanding the makeup of the paint system and how to manipulate to create your perfect finish
- Bonus create a small project to take home at the end of the workshop
It is everything you need to know to paint up a storm and transform your home and no experience necessary! In fact, if you haven't painted, even better! All materials and tools will be provided within the workshop, so you just need to bring yourself and an open mind.
The price covers Brushstrokes Studio training and guidance throughout, to learn these techniques yourself and take home valuable knowledge on how to apply to projects in your home. It also includes access to our supplies AND 10% off on all craft purchases the day of your class.

Payment is required to confirm your spot in the class
In the case of cancellations or no shows your workshop fee is non-refundable.
Transferring to another workshop can be done only before 10 working days of the workshop and if there is a spot available in another current workshop
If we cancel your workshop for any reason, such as small class numbers, illness or other unforeseen events, we will offer you an alternative date
You agree that any personal possessions that you bring to the workshop are brought at your own risk. This includes but is not limited to vehicles, personal belongings, tools, furniture and products.
You agree to follow all health and safety instructions that are provided by the tutor
